The irony is that I forgot a comma in "eats, shoots, and leaves".

To not insert that final comma is acceptable in American English. (So is splitting infinitives, and starting sentences with conjunctions.)
And when I played this game, I totally did not get the Azumanga Daioh reference... if that is indeed what it was.

Wait... this game has been going on for over a year? How come the website never let me join it and kept saying that there are no games to play?

Birq's sentence was potentially one of the best submissions I have seen here.

Klear,
It was a member game - there are a whole set of games going on for member's only - but since there are so few active members, a game takes on average a year-and-a-half to finish. The reason it popped back down to regular members to view is because some of the players' memberships expired between their submissions and the game being finished.

I just realized I used an unnecessary apostrophe. Please forgive me, grammar gods.
