Ban Ki Moon is the Secretary-General of the United Nations, as of 2007, having replaced Kofi Annan (who was also a meme) in office. In the Sentence Game, Ban Ki Moon began being used as an attempt to stem Kofi Annan, and became the general antagonist for Kofi. The first game featuring Ban Ki Moon was started by elzaban, and began "Ban Ki-Moon is relaxing at his new desk in the UN." With less presence than Kofi Annan on the Sentence Game, Ban Ki Moon's features varied more between illustrations, although the general image of him is of an Asian man with wire frame glasses, grey parted hair and a dark grey business suit. Like Kofi Annan, he was also frequently depicted with the UN symbol or a Moon located on him for identification.
The lack of iconic imagery and his antagonistic character in the game led to a decline in Ban Ki Moon, petering out by mid-November, 2006. Ban Ki Moon occasionally appeared in later games that also featured Kofi Annan, however, the latter remains far more prevalent.
