Pokemon was an international fad during the late 90's involving a series of video games and a television show involving a total of 493 animal-like creatures known as Pokemon. Pokemon has a lot of staying power on the Sentence Game as it is a very general subject.

The most-commonly appearing character is Pikachu, the mascot character of the franchise. Characters who also appear often are Ash Ketchum, the protagonist of the television show, and Team Rocket members Jessie, James and Meowth (and often their Wobbuffet), the show's villains. Many generic children in Sentence Games have transformed into Ash Ketchum. The Pokemon Sharpedo has been used before in lieu of Ghost Shark to stray the game in other directions.

Often, Pokemon as a general subject are represented by a mass amount of selected Pokemon from the series. Pikachu is often among them to distinguish the group as Pokemon, him being the most known.
