Cinnamon Bun-Haired Lady stared at Chocolate Head intently as he proposed to her, commenting on how his green lasersnake reminded her of a yellow venn diagram getting run over by a car. He then made her face melt by grinning like an executioner's mask.

Talkaze, where have you been since 1977?

Perfectly worded version of what I was thinking. I was pretty surprised at the lack of recognition of basic Star Wars images. The Venn diagram part made me laugh though.

I've probably actually said the starting sentence at one point.

It might be that he perfectly recognised the Star Wars imagery and thought "Bah! Too much Star Wars crap of late, I'mma gonna do sumptin' different"

That argument makes the logical fallacy of assuming there is such a thing as too much star wars crap.

Sure, we could sit around drawing pictures of Star Wars characters all day, but that's not the point of the game now is it?

The point of the game is to draw pictures of sentences, and vice versa. So if the sentences are of Star Wars characters, we draw pictures of Star Wars characters.

"Star Wars crap"?! What an oxymoron of heresy! *goes after talkaze with a lightsaber*

I love that you are hunting talkaze with a lightsabre for a statement I attributed to them.

I used 'crap' in the non-prejorative 'general stuff' sense.

Additionally, Vethica raises an interesting point. Sentences are more restrictive in interpretation than pictures, so indeed, if we are given sentences with Star Wars characters, we draw Star Wars characters, however the reverse is not so true, as demonstrated here. Leia is as much a cinnamon bun hair lady as she is Leia. Sentences can be reinterpreted, but only through the use of pun and double-meaning. Leia could be a Leia (layer) cake in a tiara, or a female brick layer again in a taira, but likely no-one would get it. Here endeth the ramble.

I did recognize the characters (the swirly hair and the Darth Vader blob are impossible to miss), but I figured that, considering it featured Star Wars characters with an easy-to-recognize joke, the joke would have lasted throughout the game with no changes. I decided to take the more dangerous route just to mix it up a bit.
