I drew the states as accurately as I could. I also really like these games where countries/states/provinces/whatever become characters.

yeah my bad guys, I'm from the UK so :P, fail on my part. They never taught us anything about US states, evidently nik naks are a specialty x

Don't worry, they don't teach Americans anything about other countries either--and I would venture to guess that we are even worse at geography, if we are to believe those horrible statistics about Americans (not) locating Africa on a map. (Though at one point I had all the counties and county seats of my state memorized. Real useful.)

Which is one main reason why I studied national geography in my free time. It seems people judge one's entire intellect based on their geographic knowledge. I can name most countries, but I'm not perfect.

My dad judges one's entire cleanliness based on how much dust is under one's washing machine. Like it doesn't matter how clean your house is, if there's dirt under your appliances, that means you're not *really* clean. Similarly (I am guessing people think) it doesn't matter how smart you look, if you don't know Switzerland from Suriname, you're not *really* smart. (Obviously fallacious conclusions, I might add.)
