I'm Chiquita Banana and I've come to say, bananas have to ripen in a certain way. When they're flecked with brown and have a golden hue, bananas taste the best and are the best for you.

You shouldn't let your bananas get old. Once they start getting black spots, they start locking themselves inside, shaking their canes at passing children, and singing old songs that no one else remembers. 'Tis a sad spectacle indeed.

Actually I prefer bananas spotless. Like, as soon as they lose their last hint of green they're perfect.

Yeah, green for me too. After they turn yellow they just go downhill pretty quickly, and are only good for cooking, which I never do.
