Well done, Bean.

Your pictures are great to see, but can be murder to write for. I'm sure I'm guilty of the same for some sentences though.

Plus the almost all of the message of the previous sentence is lost amongst all the extraneous NONSENSE.

It's like Salvador Dali doing a storyboard for a Monty Python sketch.
I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but bean and Groomble are right, they can be hard to pick anything out of.

Yeah, they're well drawn and humorous on their own but the bizarre added nonsense is really not necessary, and as said, hard to write for.
Just wait until you see the one about E.T.'s penis I had to choke out.

I try very hard to leave the message intact, otherwise it wouldn't be fair or fun. The extra details fill out the composition as well as add noise to the "telephone line", giving the next person something to misinterpret creatively. I don't expect anyone to summarize the whole picture (though Bean did a good job here, which is why I congratulated him), but rather hook onto some aspect and run with it, as Birq did with "Baby One Shoe Harmonica Pirate."
Evang, I can't wait to see what you did with that picture.

When you add so many unrelated elements than you might as well be restarting the game at your picture. Personally I think your style is supreme ... just not in these circumstances.

But he's still illustrating what the sentence is about...

One would be hard pressed to extrapolate cannibalism from the picture above and Im surprised bean got schoolhouse. What he's doing is 'kind of' illustrating the sentence and then adding a ton of stuff that isn't related to the sentence at all ... not even symbolically. If his pictures weren't so nice to see, and drawn by some one with less talent, you'd all be rating him one for that kind of content.
